Taking Supplies to help folks in Seabrook, Tx

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:14 am

In November of 2008, we loaded (and I mean loaded) our bus with donations from the good people of the North to take to the folks affected by the hurricane down south.  It was a long trip, but one well worth it.  Jill and I along with our daughter Shelby and her husband Rob, drove straight through Thanksgiving night to deliver these donations.  We stayed in Houston and were able to visit with friends and supporters.  We also attended Seabrook United Methodist Church pastored by Dr. Tony McCollum on Sunday morning where the day before we had unloaded all of what we had brought.  At present they are meeting in a school in Seabrook because their church was damaged and won’t be ready for awhile.  What good people to be ministering not only to their own congregation during this time, but to also be reaching out to the community as well.  God bless you all.  Following are a few of the pictures from the trip.
